Open the heart: A potpourri of poses to challenge your practice. A play filled time of taking the practice to the next level. We’ll teach to where you are willing to go. This is a two-hour practice for the sheer delight of playing.
Saturday – October 23, 2010–All Levels 09:30-12:00 (9:30am to 12 noon)
Breath of the Heart: Working our way into bliss- filled backbends.The heart is the hub of all that is sacred. We will move energetically through the asana as we stoke the great fire pit of the heart. A change of heart changes everything.
Saturday—October 23, 2010–All levels 14:00-16:30 (2pm to 4:30pm)
Rhythm of the Heart: An afternoon of seated twists, forward bends, and hip openers. Life offers us a chance to match the beat of our heart with the beat of the Universe. Join us as we align with nature and find our hearts beat to the rhythm of the glorious dance of life.
Sunday–October 24, 2010—Advanced Level 10:00-12:30 (10am-12:30pm)
The Heroic Heart: A morning practice of energetic arm balances, standing poses and inversions. Grace speaks through our heart. She connects us to our deeper selves through our practice. The heart helps us along the heroic journey and brings forth who we are and what we might be. By going down into the abyss of the heart we recover the treasures of our life.
Sunday–Ocober 24, 2010—All Levels 14:00-15:30 (2pm to 3:30pm)
The Softening Heart: A restorative afternoon of asana, meditation and pranayama. The Shakti leads the way as we follow the heart to the deepest place where the flame of our breath burns the brightest. As we close our eyes and look inside we will find the bright white light to lead us to a sweet love filled closing of such a magnificent weekend.
